Sorry for the delay in posting, my posting should become much more regular in the near future.
Good news today as the FA had the hearing for Adebayor's length of the pitch celebration. He was given a two match delayed suspension, meaning he will have to serve a two game ban in December 2010 only if he breaks anymore of the FA's rules. He was also fined 25,000 pounds for his celebration.
This is good news, as he is now able to line-up against Villa on Monday. The only question remaining is who will get dropped for Ade to appear in the starting line-up. Will it be Petrov and have Bellamy move back to Left Mid, or will Bellamy be rested a game? We will have to wait and see until Monday, all in all, I am hopeful of Ade to be able to regain his early season success and poach many more goals for us this season.

In my opinion, Petrov should get the boot. I think that Bellamy's spot is well-deserved and I expect good things during the game against Aston Villa. With Bellamy and Adebayor playing together yet again, it seems only right for City to pull a nice win over Aston Villa. I also expect Adebayor to pick up where he left off with his minimum goal a game. Go City!
ReplyDeleteTo be a big club means a few things, strength in depth, away record, and many others. The fact that Petrov can come in like he did against West Ham and do the job he did is proof Mark Hughes knows what he is doing to take this club to the next level. It is important for us (especially next season) to be able to have a rotation down, and with the whole team playing the way they are, we have good things on the horizon. Competition breeds success and we are definetly on the right track!
